The ukulele workshop for beginners at Musikhaus Sedlmeyr is aimed at anyone who wants to learn the instrument from the ground up. No previous experience is necessary – everyone can participate!
Participants will learn: 🎶How to hold and tune the ukulele correctly 🎶The most important chords for the first songs 🎶Simple beat patterns that immediately sound like music
And the best part: At the end of the workshop, everyone is guaranteed to be able to play at least 5 songs!

Experience the wonderful world of the ukulele in my courses for children, adults, and educators. Making music together brings incredible joy and creates unforgettable moments. In my courses, you'll experience how much fun making music together can be and how it brings us all closer together.
Music not only keeps the mind fit and healthy, but also promotes creativity and social interaction. Whether you're a child wanting to learn a new instrument, an adult looking for a new hobby, or an educator looking to incorporate music into your daily routine, my ukulele courses are perfect for you.
My courses take place at my ukulele school in Unterschneidheim-Zöbingen, Lilienstrasse 3. I'm also happy to come to your location if a group wants to take a course together.
I make my lessons fun, and the focus is on making music together. My groups consist of 8 to 12 people, and we learn the most important chords and strumming patterns step by step using catchy songs. Advanced students also learn melodic playing, unusual chords, and more challenging strumming patterns. Every few weeks, I offer a ukulele get-together for all advanced players, where we simply play songs together as the mood takes us and sit together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Courses for children
Children can learn the ukulele with me starting in second grade. We play in groups of 6-10 children. It's important to me that the children have a sense of achievement right from the start. So, we play a song in the very first lesson and learn a new one almost every lesson. There are also practice videos for practicing the songs at home. Later, in addition to song accompaniment with chords, we also learn how to play melodies on the ukulele, so that the children are definitely familiar with and able to play the C major scale.
The children's courses always start after the summer holidays. If you're interested, please contact me!
Two to three times a year, I start a new course for adults. We start from scratch—you don't need to know how to read music or have any special musical skills. Anyone can join! We learn in groups of about 10 adults and play a variety of songs that range from easy to challenging—but are always fun! If you're interested in a course, please contact me, and I'll put you on the waiting list for the next class.
I'm also happy to offer online lessons—whether individual or group. Feel free to request songs, which I'll then play with you and give you a few tips on strumming technique, chord playing, or melody playing. Just write to me if you're interested, and I'll put together a personalized lesson plan for you.
